Waving Through A Window (Chinese Cover)
我们一家人移民到加拿大，是我爸爸的主意。他为了我可以成长在一个更好的环境里，而失去了他在中国舒适的生活。在我们刚来到加拿大的时候，我很快就适应了这里的文化和语言，可是我可以观察得到我爸爸面对的困难。所以我想用这首歌来表达我对他的感谢。当我听到这首歌时，我就被它吸引了，而且我觉得这首歌很好的描述了我爸爸当时的情况。当时虽然我爸爸表面上看起来很开心，实际上他的内心经历了很多挣扎。由于这些原因，所以我翻译与改编了部分的歌词送给我的爸爸。在改编的时候我重新写了主歌的歌词和副歌一部分的歌词。我把这首歌原本的歌词：“（Can anybody see?）有没有人能看见？（Is anybody waving back at me?）有没有人对我，招手呢?”变成了“我站在你的旁边，我站在你的旁边，陪着你”。我这样做是因为我想要告诉我的爸爸他面对困难的时候不需要一个人面对，我会陪着他到永远！
It is my father's idea that our family immigrated to Canada. He lost his comfortable life in China for me to grow up in a better environment. When we first came to Canada, I quickly adapted to the culture and language here, but I can observe the difficulties my father faced. So I want to use this song to express my gratitude to him. When I heard this song, I was attracted to it, and I think this song is a good description of my father's situation at the time. At the time, although my father looked very happy on the surface, in fact, his heart experienced a lot of struggles. For these reasons, I translated and adapted part of the lyrics to my dad. In the adaptation, I rewritten the lyrics of the main song and the lyrics of a part of the chorus. I took the original lyrics of this song: "Is anybody waving back at me?" Does anyone call me, beckoning?" Becomes "I stand in your Next to me, I am standing next to you, accompanying you." I did this because I wanted to tell my dad that he didn't need to face someone when he faced difficulties, I will stay with him forever!
